Biffers

Hailing from Livorno, on the west coast of Tuscany, The Biffers first became active in 2009, creating a classic punk rock sound inspired by the California scene of the late 1980's, but mixing influences of R&B and British indie rock traditions as well. The Biffers came to the attention of Kung Fu Records when Vandals bassist and label owner Joe Escalante took notice of one of their infectious jams posted directly to the Kung Fu Records Facebook page. It was hard not to love them, and one listen of "Bubblegum" off of their Kung Fu debut full length "WHOA!" and you'll see why. The Biffers have the unique ability to break down the punk genre, and build it back again with an innocence and simplicity that is lost on so many bands that call themselves punk but take it for granted.
